The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. - Funeral service: 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Crossings Community Church Chapel, 14600 N. Portland Ave. OKC, OK.

Okey Ray Patterson was born Dec. 28, 1916 in Mena, AR and went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Sibyl, an infant daughter Vicky, and a son John. He is survived by 3 daughters, Lenora Norholm and husband Kresten; Brenda Jahn and husband Steve; Barbara Headley and husband Dan; 2 sisters, Louise Deines and Lila Hurley; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Ray worked at W&W Steel company in the drafting department for over 35 years. Ray was a member of Crossings Community Church, serving as a past elder. Faith, family and music were very important in his life. He loved to sing the old hymns and play his harmonica for any one who would listen. The family wants to express appreciation to Crossings Church, Baptist Retirement Center, Bellevue Nursing Facility and Centennial Hospice for support through this last journey of Ray's life. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Crossings Community Church Chapel, 14600 N. Portland, OKC, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
