Services held 10am on August 17, 2016 at South Lakes Chapel with burial following at Heritage Burial Park.

Patricia Sue Conrad quietly passed away on August 12, 2016, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 85. She was born on June 10, 1931, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Leonard and Zaida Sutherland. She graduated from Claremore High School, where she was the drum majorette for the Zebras during her junior and senior years, and she was the class president her senior year. She attended Oklahoma A & M for one year before she was married to Donald Gene Conrad on December 23, 1950 at the Claremore Methodist Church. After one more year at Oklahoma A & M, she received a degree in Intensive Business, and later she received a B. A. at the University of Oklahoma, though at heart she was always an Oklahoma A & M Cowgirl. She then was a first grade teacher in Oklahoma City for twenty years, first at Hillcrest, and later at Coolidge Elementary Schools. She loved teaching and many children, including her grandchildren, benefited from her tutorship. She was an avid reader and a marvelous cook. Holiday seasons were always eagerly anticipated because of her skill at preparing homemade noodles, Coke jello, deviled eggs, turkey and dressing, and many other culinary delights. She is survived by her husband, to whom she was married for sixty-five years, and her children Gary Don Conrad, Jimmy Dale Conrad, Connie Sue Miller, and their spouses. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
