Patricia R. Epps, age 88, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on July 31, 2026. Born on December 10, 1937, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Bill and Verda Zajic. She was the third child of seven.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Max Epps. Together they built a family that remained the center of her life and greatest source of joy.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Kim Milligan (Dave), Troy Epps (Jenee), and Keli Lamb (Chad); her companion of 17 years, Don Elmenhorst, who shared many loving years with her; along with several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

Pat dedicated 25 years of service to the State of Oklahoma, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment. While she valued her career, nothing was more important to her than the people she loved.

Those who knew Pat will remember her gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. Her warmth, compassion, and steady presence touched countless lives, and her family will forever treasure the memories they shared with her. She was a devoted Catholic throughout her life and was dedicated to her faith.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association .

The family finds comfort in knowing that Pat is reunited with Max and at peace. She will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
