Pat went to be with her Lord on May 2, 2012. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Kendall; daughters Debbie Roundtree and Chris Lowmiller; son-in-law Ron Lowmiller; grandchildren Brian Roundtree and Whitney Partain, Megan Hunt and husband Bryan, and Jared Lowmiller; sister Imogene Ebeling and husband Raymond; brother-in-law Leon Higdon; sister-in-law Mary Ann Higdon; and countless other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Chad Roundtree. Pat was born Sept. 20, 1929 to Howard and Clara Selken in OKC. She graduated from Mustang High School in 1947. She married Kendall Higdon on Aug. 17, 1949. Her career began at Southwestern Bell, followed by Mutual of Omaha, and ending at the State Insurance Board where she retired in 1989. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she served on various boards, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Masonic Eastern Star. She volunteered at SW Medical Center. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, attending book club, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family. The family wants to thank Lifecare Home Health and Hospice, especially Cindy, Molly, June, and Shannon.
