IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia
Hollars
July 6, 1958 – January 9, 2025
Patricia Hollars peacefully entered Heaven's gates on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 66, surrounded by her four beloved children. Born on July 6, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Mary Louise and WR (Rosie) Brumley. Patricia attended Oklahoma City Public Schools, where she was known for her kindness and her determination to form a close bond with a special young boy.
In 1976, she graduated from Grant High School and that previous determination payed off. Gregory Paul Hollars and Trisha quickly became enamored with each other. Their love flourished, culminating in a beautiful wedding on July 9, 1976, at St. James Catholic Church. Together, they cherished more than 35 years of a loving marriage, blessed with four wonderful children, until Greg's passing on March 31, 2012.
Trisha did in-home childcare when her children were small, later became a wedding planner at Brookside Wedding Chapel, and for the last 7 years she was a cafeterian at Moore Public Schools. She loved being in the atmosphere of the school children. She formed many cherished friendships through her work, often spending time with colleagues outside of her professional life.
Trisha loved being surrounded by her family and cooking favorite dishes for her children on special days. She also loved planting fresh flowers in the spring, reading her Bible, and watching old TV shows.
An important part of Trisha's life beyond family and work friends were her lifelong friendships. They filled her life with adventure, love, comfort and joy.
Living life to the fullest, Trisha embraced every moment with zest, especially those spent with her kids and grandkids, whom they lovingly referred to as "Grandma" and "Noni". Her grandchildren cherish the fond memories of her singing sweet lullabies and her favorite songs to them in her beautiful voice. They were the true joy and center of her life.
The magnitude of her positive inspiration and influence helped shape the lives of many. Known for her ability to put others at ease and make them feel like family, Trisha will be fondly remembered for her warmth, joy and generosity of spirit. She loved with all of her heart and will be deeply, deeply missed.
Trisha was preceded in death by her mother Mary Louise Brumley, father WR (Rosie) Brumley, sister Kathy Murphy, granddaughter Kadynce (KK) Hollars, husband Greg Hollars, and brother Woody/Hal Brumley.
Trisha leaves behind her loving family:
