Patty went be with her Lord on Monday, August 21st, 2023 at her home following a short illness with her daughters by her side. She was 88. Patty graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1952 where she met her husband Evard Humphrey. They were married in 1952 and remained married until Evard's passing in 2007. They had two daughters, four granddaughters and 8 great grandchildren. The family spent many Friday and Saturday nights at local dirt tracks watching Evard race. She loved to feed the humming birds and did her best to keep the animals away from her tomatoes. She bowled for many years in a ladies bowling leagues and made many friends. Patty attended Southern Hills Baptist Church and rarely missed a Sunday. Patty made many friends in the Street Rod community and loved traveling around to the various car shows. She met Chuck Winstead after Evard's death and they spent every day together until her passing. They traveled all over the country and loved going to the OKC Thunder games. Patty called the Thunder players her boys. She always had a happy disposition and never met a person she could not start a conversation with. Her stories and jokes always made people laugh and smile. She loved the Lord and said He had His hands on her waist guiding her thru life. We should all be so blessed. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy Couch and her husband Dean, of Choctaw, OK; Karey Doss and her husband, Terry of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughters: Courtney Charish of Choctaw, OK; Kendra Garrison of Broken Arrow, OK; Alena Chambers and her husband Freddy, of Broken Arrow, OK and Stephanie Couch Lily of Choctaw, OK; 8 great grandchildren: Janell, Braeden, Haylee, Brianna, Reagan, Freddy and Colt. She will be missed by all as well as her dear friend and companion Chuck Winstead.
