IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Lynn
Mcwilliams
February 10, 1946 – November 17, 2025
Patricia Lynn McWilliams
February 10, 1946 – November 17, 2025
Patricia "Pat" Lynn McWilliams entered the gates of Heaven and received her eternal reward on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 79. Born February 10, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of W.L. "Les" and Pearl Inez (Beatty) Moody.
Pat grew up in Oklahoma City, attending Oklahoma City Public Schools and graduating from Capitol Hill High School in 1964. She later continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma. After many years of friendship, Pat began dating the love of her life, Guy F. McWilliams Jr. Their friendship blossomed into a beautiful love story, and they were united in marriage on May 23, 1969, at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. Their union was blessed with a son and more than 56 years of a devoted and loving marriage.
In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Pat worked outside the home as a credit specialist at Sears. Her family was truly the center of her world. She cherished hosting holidays, spending time with her sisters and their families, and supporting her grandchildren in every activity—from band and choir concerts to dance recitals. She delighted in making birthdays and holidays unforgettable for them. Her love for her family was unwavering, unconditional, and deeply felt by all who knew her.
Pat enjoyed bowling and fishing, but her greatest passion was gardening. Each spring and summer, she found joy in planting and tending to her flowers, creating beauty wherever she went.
Raised in church, Pat accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age and lived a life of faith, service, and humility. She was a lifelong member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church, where she served in many roles—always preferring to remain behind the scenes. She formed cherished friendships there and shared countless laughs through dinners out, travels, and fellowship. Her sincerity, generosity, and servant's heart were a reflection of her deep love for the Lord.
Pat lived life with joy, zest, and grace, facing both trials and triumphs with strength and dignity. The time spent with her son and grandchildren was the truest joy of her life. Her positive influence and example shaped many lives and will continue to inspire all who loved her. Known for her sharp wit and playful sarcasm, she will be remembered for the warmth she shared, the laughter she encouraged, and the love she gave freely.
