Obituary

Pat Brown Saied, the daughter of Bob and "Toots" Brown was born on November 26, 1927 in Childress, TX. She was 94 years young at the time of her passing.

Pat lived and went through all 12 years of school in Childress before moving to Wichita Falls to attend business school. After completion of her studies, she moved back home and married the man of her dreams, George Ben Saied on April 13, 1947. They remained in Childress the next ten years with Pat staying home raising Ben, Trice and Beverly, while George worked in the family business. They moved to Perryton in 1957 and opened Saied's Mens Shop. They made lifelong friends. They were "home"

Pat was an animal lover. She took in every stray cat, dog, hamster, WHATEVER needed a home. She had such a kind and tender heart.

She loved playing bridge, was an avid reader and a staunch Dallas Cowboys fan! She told her kids, "Do not call me to visit during a Cowboys game!"

Pat was a homebody who truly loved being home. She kept an immaculate house, enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family. She was a beautiful, fun, loving, mother, wife and friend to so many. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

On September 12th, 2022, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, wrapped her in his loving arms and took her home to live an eternal life. She was at peace and ready.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, George Saied; her sons-in-law, Dr. Gary R. Rahill and Jim Spinden.

Pat is survived by her son, Ben Louis Saied of Amarillo; her daughters, Trice Rahill of Oklahoma City and Beverly Spinden of Dallas; her former daughter-in-law, Diane Saied of Amarillo; her eight grandchildren and her nine great grandchildren.
