Patrick Kenneth (PK) Fowler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and more recently of Wichita Kansas passed away on Saturday, October 30 following a brave battle with liver failure. Patrick was born on January 17, 1973. He was a graduate of Putnam City North High School. PK enjoyed wrestling and football in Jr High and High School. He attended UCO, Oklahoma City Community College and OSU/OKC. Patrick's favorite subject was history, which he continued to enjoy throughout his life. PK was an avid sportsman who was passionate about wildlife and the outdoors. PK loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed gardening, camping, cycling, OU football and spending time with his dog "Boomer".
Patrick was preceded in death by his Grandparents, and his beloved sister, Denise. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Anita Fowler, his siblings Debbie Fowler and her husband Craig, Randy Fowler, Vicki Heigele and her husband Scott, and Michael Fowler. Patrick also leaves to cherish his memory nieces and nephews Jennifer Vann, Cara Fowler and Justin Fowler of Austin Texas, Shawn Thornton of Costa Rica and Amanda Thornton of Atlanta Georgia, Jason and Zachary David Fowler of Norman Oklahoma and Airman First Class Bailey K Fowler of Wichita Falls Texas. Patrick is also survived by a great niece, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and acquaintances.
There will be a Memorial Service to honor Patrick Friday, November 5 at 10:00 am at Via Christi St. Francis Chapel. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday November 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary North Colonial Chapel. Funeral services will be November 8 at 2:00 pm at Vondel L Smith & Son Mortuary North.
Patrick's family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the healthcare teams that provided respectful compassionate care to him during his illness. A special thank-you to the physicians and nurses that cared for him on the 7th floor and in the ICU's at Via Christi St Francis Hospital in Wichita Kansas and at the University of Kansas Hospital and Medical School in Kansas City.
