IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick Allen
Timmons
June 26, 1962 – August 23, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick "Pat" Allen Timmons announce his passing on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 61. Pat was born to Gail and Jerry Timmons on June 26, 1962, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Port Neches High School and later continued his education with a degree in business from University of Phoenix. Pat proudly served in the Air Force from 1981 to 1985 as a weapons loader, and maintained many long lasting friendships from his time in the service.
Pat leaves behind his sons; Jonathan and wife Alexis, and Allen, two grandchildren Collin and Charlotte, whom he adored. He loved being a Papa and Pat also leaves behind his mother, Jerry, his sisters, Jill, Sharon, Laura, and Amy, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he shared bonds with. Pat is preceded in death by his father, Gail.
Throughout his career, Pat made significant contributions to various organizations. He worked at American Education Corporation from 1994 to 2010. He then served as the Sr. Director of Product Development at Stride, formally K12 Inc, from 2010 until early 2023. In 2023, he became the Vice President of Software Engineering at Carnegie Learning. Pat was very accomplished but always maintained his only mission was to help children and adults further their education. He was a mentor to several individuals due to his unique perspective and approach to solving problems. Additionally, Pat pursued his desire to start a family business for him and his family to work on together. He accomplished his wish in early 2023 becoming the proud owner of Okie Dokie Bakery.
In his free time, Pat enjoyed golfing, flying planes, playing games with his children and grandchildren, drinking beer, and cherishing moments with his loved ones.
To honor Pat's legacy and his dream of building a family business, his children will continue to operate Okie Dokie Bakery. If you wish to support the family during this time and contribute to the bakery's growth, please visit www.okiedokiebakery.com.
Pat Timmons will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched over the several years in education. His dedication, kindness, and love will be remembered forever.
