Patsy Ruth (Bryant) Jameson was born January 12, 1930 in Cove, Arkansas to John

Bert Bryant and Marie Scott Bryant. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma

City on Tuesday February 6, just after her 94 th birthday.

Patsy grew up in Mena Arkansas and graduated from Mena High School in 1948. She

married Jimmy Jameson on October 11, 1952, and in 1956 they moved to Alexandria,

LA where they lived for 16 years. During this time, they added four sons and a

daughter. In 1972 the family moved to Oklahoma City where they lived happily ever

since.

Patsy truly lived her 94 years about as well as any person could. She connected with

most everyone she ever met throughout her life in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

Countless neighbors, Avon customers, church family, and all the people that sat down

for a meal at her house brought to the table by one of her children, grandchildren, and

even her great grandchildren became part of her orbit of people that loved her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Marie Bryant, her husband

Jimmy, and her brother Burl W. Bryant (wife Rosalie). She is survived by her five

children - Jim Jameson (wife Rebecca), John Jameson (wife Diana), Joey Jameson,

Jeffrey Jameson (wife Jolene), and Jan Sumpter (husband Steve) – as well as six

grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday February 15 at 10 AM at Village United Methodist

Church, 2501 W Britton Road in Oklahoma City. A reception and luncheon will follow

at a location to be announced.

Memorials may be made to Village United Methodist Church, Bella SPCA, Britvil

Community Food Pantry or your favorite charity. Patsy loved everyone.
