Patsy "Diane" Rigsby's earthly arrival was on October 24th, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK and her heavenly departure was on December 25th, 2020 at the age of 67. She made it in time to celebrate with Jesus on his Birthday. She was the daughter of Robert H Rigsby and Hazel Kimery Rigsby. She was the wife of Okey McCarty for 25 years. Mother of three children, Nicky Diane Shields (deceased), Steven Shields (wife Carenza), Erin Axton (husband Clay). She was a Granny to four, and she thought they were the best things to walk this earth, and you did not argue with her!! Averi and Addison Axton and Beckham and Adele Shields. She came from a large family and leaves behind her brother Ronnie Rigsby (wife Lenora) and sister Sue Vis (husband Ray) as well as many nieces, nephews and family members. Diane was a RN in several different fields and worked hard to get her college degree the same time as her son, Steve. She loved to fish, country dancing, designing jewelry, crafting, snuggling her dog Sammy, playing Skip Bo with Erin, and most of all watching her True Crime shows. You could always count on her to laugh at your jokes and be silly after an eye roll. She will be remembered and missed by many. Her family would like to thank you for all of the love and support. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
