Patsy, born in Wewoka, OK, on August 18, 1930, moved when she was a small child between Davis and Sulphur, OK, attended a two room school until moving to Oklahoma City, OK when she was twelve years old. She attended Webster Junior High and graduated from Central High School in 1948. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior when she was very young, and quietly practiced her faith all her life. She served her church in many ways throughout her life. There is no question she has passed on to eternal life with the Savior. She was the youngest of six children born to Ninniam D. and Maggie Davis. Both of her parents and her five brothers and sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe; two children, Susan Walker White, and her husband Steve of Oklahoma City, OK and Steven Kent Walker of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, two grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Laird and Benjamin David Holeman and one great-grandson, Joseph Kade Holeman. After a career for several years as a secretary to several companies and attorneys she remained at home to raise her children until both attended school. During this time she was the first part-time secretary of her church, Westridge Hills Church of God, (now Crossings Community Church) to Rev. Dwight Dye. In 1970, she opened one of several successful retail stores. In Stitches, a needlework and yarn business in Bethany, OK and also later in Penn Square Mall, OKC. Moving with her husband to Plano, TX in 1980, she opened Country Classics, a home décor and gift shop in downtown Plano. After they moved to Chesterfield, MO in 1985, she opened Aunt Pitty Pat's in historic St. Charles, MO, and later moved and opened Aunt Pitty Pat's and Miss Ivy's Cottage in historic Manchester, MO. Both were home décor, craft, antique, and gift stores. Patsy and Joe returned to Oklahoma City in 1996 and she assisted Joe in their communication papers business until her health no longer permitted. She was a kind and loving person to her family and friends. She loved her family deeply. One of her greatest characteristics was she always saw the best in everyone. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marlene Peck for her Godly care of Patsy through her long illness. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Crossings Community Church, 14600 N. Portland Ave., OKC, OK.
