IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Jerome
Frolich
November 11, 1941 – December 27, 2025
Paul J. Frolich, 84, joined his Heavenly Father surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Paul was born on November 11, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ernest F. & Ester M. (Hessel) Frolich. Paul spent his formative years in Del City, Oklahoma. A talented basketball player with a skill for shooting, Paul always enjoyed sports, but preferred scholastic and studying. Following graduation from Del City High School, Paul continued his education at the University of Oklahoma.
Since 1952, the Frolich families were longtime members of Capitol Hill Church of God and this is where Paul would meet and eventually marry the love of his life, Willa Mae Spiva, on December 21, 1962.
At the age of 21 and working tirelessly his entire life, Paul started building both homes and his own businesses. He successfully owned and operated his residential home construction business, Paul Frolich Homes, Inc. for nearly six decades. It is estimatied that he built over 1,000 homes during his successful career. Paul established an excellent reputation for building quality homes throughout the communities and fellow construction and real estate industries. He had a keen eye for detail and was known for treating his workers, customers and industry professionals well. He was highly respected in the industry because of this in addition to his quality workmanship and incredible worth ethic. He accomplished so much throughout the years, that it is very difficult and somewhat unfair to summarize in a few simple paragraphs just how much Paul achieved in his 57 year career. The countless work professionals and relationships established through working with men and women in Paul's profession, developed into many close friendships and dedicated bonds that stood strong and unwavering throughout the years. He valued these folks and respected their contributions to his successes, never taking them for granted.
Paul was an instrumental figure in developing and building out, Frolich Heights, Frolich Meadows, Frolich Village, Frolich Meadows Estates, HollyBrooke, and The Legacy housing additions. He also built many other homes all over the greater Oklahoma City area. Paul always kept his priorities straight...God, Family, Friends, and Business, in that order. Attending church, serving in church, and serving God was paramount to Paul and is something that he instilled in his family. In 1985, Paul along with his family began attending Shartel Church of God, where they enjoyed fellowship, worship and made many lasting friends. Later, Paul and Willa eventually settled at Crossings Community Church, where Paul enjoyed serving as an usher. In recent years, Paul and Willa have worshiped online.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed supporting, watching and cheering for OU football and basketball, attending countless games played home and away. He traveled all over the country with Willa, his father and his mother, to watch the Sooners play. Paul was also excited to see the OKC Thunder come to town and enjoyed watching them too.
Later in life, Paul enjoyed traveling with Willa, with many of those travels spent on cruises all over the world. Paul also thoroughly enjoyed snow skiing and summer vacations with his family. He left a tremendous legacy to fulfill and continue on for generations to come.
