Hien "Paul" Duc Lu passed away unexpectedly on December 13th, 2022 at the age of 53 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Paul was born on June 29th, 1969 in Chợ Lớn, Saigon, Viet Nam to Phat Lu and Chanh Truong as the second of eight children. He came to the United States in 1980 and settled with his family in Moore, OK. He lived an adventurous and carefree life, stunning those around him with his exceptional cooking and ability to fix cars in both traditional and creative manners.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Phat Lu; his sisters, Phuong Tu Lu and Phuong My Lu; and his brother, Thien Duc Lu.

He is survived by his mother, Chanh "Teresa" Truong; his children, Hiep, Huong, and Tammy; his sisters, Phuong Lu (Thao Tieu); and Elizabeth (Hung) Le; his brothers, John (Kasey) Lu and Victor (Ann) Pham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes, 4000 SW 119th Street, Oklahoma City, on December 17th from 4:00pm – 8:00pm and December 18th from 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

Graveside Services will be held at Heritage Burial Park, 4000 SW 119th St. OKC, OK 73173, on December 19th at 1:00pm, all are welcome.
