Paul spent most of his life living in OK except for the time spent serving his country. He served in the Korean War & WWII, fighting in several battles including Iwo Jima. He retired in 1973 from Eielson AFB civil service in Alaska, where he lived for 21 years. He was an active member of the VFW for many years, even serving as State Commander in Alaska & many other leadership roles. During their long & happy marriage, they traveled throughout Alaska, Canada, the US, & Mexico in their RV.
