Peggy Elizabeth Benson, 88, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on December 17, 2021. She was born in Dallas, Texas on December 25, 1932 to Melvin and Grace (Marshall) Newsom. She was married to Phil W. Benson. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Phil W. Benson and sons: Mike Benson and Terry Benson. She is survived by granddaughters: Tara Benson Underwood of Houston, Texas and Natallie Zeller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Melvin B. Benson of Edmond, Oklahoma; along with grandsons: Buddy Benson, Tony Benson and Brian Benson. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
