Perry Lee Sellers was born November 23, 1938 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Levi and Cora Mae Sellers. On July 3, 1959, he married the love of his life, Mary Donnita Davis in Oklahoma City, and they had two children, Randy and Teresa. They spent those formative years raising children and helping to support churches in the Oklahoma City area. Perry served as a church board member, Sunday school teacher, and usher consistently and faithfully. Missions work was also of extreme importance to Perry, and he and Mary went on numerous mission's trips. They went on to establish a monthly ministry to feed people in Oklahoma City who lived on the streets. Needless to say, missions and service were two important pillars in Perry's ethos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Cora Mae Sellers; sisters Cherry Sellers and Vickie Dodge; brothers Larry and Jerry Sellers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Donnita Sellers; children, Randy L. Sellers (Sheila) and Teresa D. Sellers (David Thompson); grandchildren Ryan Dunn (Morgan), Haley Stevens (Justin), Jonathan Sellers (Summer), Dana Sellers (Gilles Sadak); great-grandchildren Rylan and Aurora Dunn, Ryder and Sayler Stevens, Chevyn Heu, Celsey and Zarek Shockley.
