Peter Dewar Crawford II was born October 15, 1986 in Memphis, Tennessee but spent most of his life in Oklahoma City until his tragic death on June 27, 2009. Dewar graduated from Putnam City North High School in 2005 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City. Dewar loved scouting and started as a member of Troop 177. After numerous out of state summer camps, he proudly earned his Eagle Scout while a member of Troop 599. Scouting instilled a love for cooking and the outdoors, and Dewar never passed up an opportunity to go fishing with his buddies. Dewar is survived by his mother, Kimberly Crawford-Welch, step-father, Randy Welch, sisters Alexandra and Katherine Crawford and step-brother Beau Welch all of Oklahoma City. Also, his father, Peter David Crawford of Florida, as well as many extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 2 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 NW Grand Blvd. Dewar's memorial service will be at First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City, 1001 NW 25th Street at 11am with a reception following.
