KINDRICK, Philip Wendal, age 54, of Oklahoma City, OK, died April 20, 2009, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family. He was born in St. Louis, MO, on 9/5/54, graduated from U. S. Grant High School and lived in Oklahoma City most of his life. He was the son of Arvard (Jack) Kindrick and LaVonne Kindrick of OKC. A retired electrician from the IBEW Local Union 1141, he once had his own business, Kindrick Electric. He loved playing tennis and watching sports with friends and working with his hands. He was always glad to help family and friends with home projects. He loved traveling to new places for out-of-state electrical jobs. He and his dad had an electrical contracting business called Kindrick Electric. He is survived by his parents of OKC, sister, Linda Faris (Ken) of Overland Park, KS; brother Wayne Kindrick (Anne) of Tulsa; brother, Warren Kindrick of OKC; brother, Daryl Kindrick of OKC; and three nephews and three nieces. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a great joke and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Vondel Smith at 6934 S. Western at 11 AM on April 23, 2009.
