IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phillip James
Aday
March 19, 1959 – November 9, 2024
Phillip James Aday entered into eternity Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the age of 65. Phillip was born March 19, 1959 to Joe Virgil and Loretta Imogene Aday who preceded him in death. Phillip had always dreamed of being a fighter pilot but due to childhood vision impairment was never able to fulfill his dream. He worked at Tinker Air Force base in Midwest City Oklahoma from the time he was 20 years old and worked there for 39 years servicing small aircraft parts to be able to be around planes. One of Phillip's last wishes was to experience take off in a F-18 Super Hornet off of an aircraft carrier. Philip enjoyed watching OSU football go pokes, and the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed watching WWE and basketball, and had recently developed a liking to old westerns. Philip loved his children, who are left behind. Joy Johnson of Purdy, MO, Ryan Johnson and wife Hope of Del City, OK, Jamie Aday of Oklahoma City, OK, Nathaniel Aday and wife Kayla of Hudson, FL, and Brayden Mitchell . He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren. And several friends including his closest and beloved friend who he affectionately called mom Jo Fisher of Oklahoma, Stephanie and Dave of Oklahoma City. Phillip was a member of the Catholic church and was currently attending little flower. Philip was preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal grandparents, his brother's Ronald Joe Aday, and Walter Mark Aday, and his son James Luther Aday.
At this time the family has decided to hold off on a celebration of life till all his children can be there and will announce at a later date.
