Obituary

Viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary (6934 S. Western Ave.)

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Phillip's life at 1:00 PM, on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Life.Church,(2916 S. Telephone Rd. Moore, Oklahoma) Please have any floral tributes delivered to Life.Church in Moore after 11:00AM on Friday.

Phillip "Deuce" Limon, Jr., 63, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Phillip Limon, Sr. and Kathleen (Sanchez) Limon on September 27, 1958. Phillip retired as a courier driver for FedEx Express after 31 years. He then started working for Dover Brothers, Inc. in 2019.

Phillip married the love of his life, Carmen Loera on September 16, 1976 and from their union they had two children. They recently renewed their wedding vows on Thursday, September 16, 2021 after 45 years of marriage.

Phillip loved fishing and spending his time at Lake Eufaula, and in Galveston, Texas doing what he loves. He also enjoyed coaching baseball for the last 35+ years, most recently being "Coach Phil" to his grandson and the 12U Oklahoma Outlaws. He loved helping anyone who needed it. He was the "fixer" that everyone called upon. Aside from fishing and baseball he enjoyed spending time with his family and making people laugh. Family was one of the most important things to him and he made those around him feel loved and welcomed. Phillip was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many. He will be forever missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip, Sr.and Kathleen Limon. Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Limon; Son, Trey Limon and wife, Crystal; Daughter, Danielle Limon; 2 sisters, Teresa Limon and Cecilia Limon; half-brother, Patrick Limon; 3 grandchildren, Jace Limon, Riley White and Sean White; sister in law, Linda Henrichs and husband, John; brothers in Law, Robert Loera and family, John Loera and family; Cousins, James Ramirez and Cruz Ramirez families; aunts, Mary Brown and Carmen Soliz; as well as, the Quintero family, Daniel Pratt and family, the Limon's and many other extended family.

The family would like to extend a thank you to their Oklahoma Outlaw family, who have offered continued support and love. As well as Dover Brother's Inc, for taking such special care of Phil during his illness. Carmen, Trey, and Dani would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Norman Regional Oncology team to include Dr. Kristin Thorp, and her nurse Kimberly Law, and Dr.Yerra Vanama for providing excellent care and support.
