Priscilla Dean Taber was born October 5th, 1931 in Tulsa to L. W. (Smiley) and Bessie M. Zimmerman of Hominy. She passed away on February 19th, 2011 in Oklahoma City after a short illness.
She graduated from Mound Valley High School in 1949 and married Billy G. Bugg the following year. Together they had three children, Stephen, Pamela and Bill Wayne. Over the years she worked as an accountant at Utility Equipment Company, Restaurant Associates, Lindley-Hobson Oil, Earlsboro Oil and Gas and Evelyn Seagrave Travel. While working at Evelyn Seagrave Travel, Priscilla met and married Robert L. Taber on January 22nd, 1983. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Priscilla is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Robert of the home; son, Stephen Bugg of Oklahoma City; daughter, Pamela Bugg of Austin, TX; stepdaughter Cynthia Taber of Gulf Shores, AL; stepson Thomas Taber and wife Jessie of Oklahoma City; brothers Richard, Lynn and Rick Zimmerman and their wives; sisters Betty Hulsey, Char (Bunny) Starks and JoAnn Kruse and their husbands; granddaughters Megan, Lindsey and Cassie Bugg and great-grandson Aidan of Colorado Springs, CO and grandson Benjamin Galaway, wife Emmie and their son Anthony of Orlando, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Wayne Bugg and her parents.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Vondel Smith Mortuary North Colonial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 at the same location. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 24th, 2011 at the A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, OK.
