A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Chapel in Concordia, 7707 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, on her birthday, Tuesday, October 30 at 2:00 PM.

Q. Lurlene Jarvis of OKC, OK left this earth quietly on October 24, 2012 after a struggle with Leukemia. An independent resident of Concordia, she spent many happy hours with her friends in various activities. After retirement, she was an active member of Willow Creek Golf & Country Club where she frequently played golf & tennis. Hardworking and independent throughout her life; she loved reading, tennis and playing golf; had many friends. A soft spoken woman who always was kind and loyal to those who knew her. She will be missed by all. Widow of J. Lee Jarvis; she was married in Hobbs, NM December, 1942. Survived by her daughter, Suzanne Jarvis Givens & her husband, Forrest; two dogs: Lucy & Sidney.
