Obituary

Rain was born on July 5, 1997 and was called home on July 30, 2012. Our little Rainbow loved so deeply and passionately without condition. Rainbow had so much passion for everything she loved. She was an amazing artist, photographer and musician with a raw talent that was beyond her years. She taught herself how to play every instrument she could get her hands on. As we all know, Rain's favorite pastime was to play catch with her mom. Those two played catch everyday for the last 10 years. It is no wonder she was the amazing athlete that she turned out to be. But most of all, Rain loved you. She loved to make you feel special, like you could do or be anything. Being with her made you feel special but in the end, we know it was Rain who was the special one. Special doesn't even do her justice. She was a star with a light that shined so bright the whole world could see… that light will never fade. Rain was deeply devoted to God and spent most of her time on Earth doing God's work. She knew God wanted us to take care of each other but especially those who couldn't care for themselves. Rain was devoted to helping those less fortunate especially the homeless. Rain said, "We should treat the homeless people like they are Jesus." The world was a much better place with her in it. Rain left a legacy behind for us to remember her by. She wanted us all to know how much she loved us and to show each other the kind of love she would have. Like Rain said, "All we need is love." She touched so many lives and we are all better people because she loved us. We will never forget and every drop of rain will remind us of her love and every rainbow will be a promise to go on. Rain will be taken care of by her: Grandparents, Kenneth and Myrtle Stephens. She was greatly loved in return by her: Mothers, Kendra Rene Stephens and Christiana Peña; Brother, Kail Glover; Sisters, Brittany & Samantha Peña; Countless amount of family & friends, who will continue to celebrate her life and cherish her memory.
