Richard King Christner, Jr. passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Richard King Christner, Sr. and Elsie Mae Arva. Richard was a Sgt in U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War as a Military Police Officer. Richard received numerous awards including, the Service Medal with 5 Bronze Service Stars and Rifle Marksman. He met the love of his life Olivia Stone in 1975 and enjoyed 46 years of marriage together. Richard and Olivia were each other's world. They were blessed with a daughter, Erica Michelle. Richard loved his daughter unconditionally. They shared a truly special bond. Richard worked as a Delivery Truck Driver for 20 years before his retirement and made life long friendships. Richard never met a stranger. Richard enjoyed his family, gardening, the beach, OU football and softball. Richard also loved camping and being out by the camp fire, sharing stories about life. Richard loved his dog, Jake. Jake was always by his side. He will be missed, but always remembered by his family and friends.
