Richard "Rick" Anthony LaGuardia was born November 11, 1943 in Stamford, Connecticut to Dominick Joseph and Mary (Parese) LaGuardia. Rick completed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

Rick was raised in Stamford where he graduated from high school in 1961. He moved to Oklahoma and earned his B.S. from the University of Oklahoma in 1966. Rick began teaching at Northwest Classen High School where he influenced many students. He then went on to earn his M.S. from the University of Central Oklahoma and became an Accountant. He opened his own practice and established several businesses before working side by side with wife Neta for 34 years and playing a vital role in the success of the business.

Rick was a member of New Covenant Methodist Church in Edmond.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Pam Romaniello.

Rick is survived by his wife, Neta; his daughter, Tracey Romano; his four grandchildren; his sister, Susan Mitchell and her husband Bob; his brothers-in-laws, Bill Romaniello, Jack Irwin and Chuck Irwin; his sister-in-law, Sonja Peach; his nieces, Dana Mitchell, Rachele and Hadley Brown; his nephew, Steven Romaniello; Te Peach, Bo Peach, and Joshua Peach, nephews he considered as sons. Along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26th at New Covenant Methodist Church, 2700 S. Boulevard in Edmond.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Make a Wish Foundation.
