Richard William Reed, 72, passed from this life Sunday July 5, 2015. He was born Aug. 17, 1942 to Earl James, Sr. and Evelyn Mildred (Kent) Reed. Richard owned and operated a trucking and repair company. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. Richard loved God and his country, proudly serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved people and never met a stranger. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He leaves precious memories with his wife, Nancy; son, Kent Reed; daughter, Lisa Larner and husband, Cliff; 2 grandchildren, Jax Larner and Aiden Beam and 1 sister, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
