Richard Earl
Stringfellow
April 20, 1952 – March 26, 2024
On March 26, 2024 Richard Earl Stringfellow left this world and entered the gates of Heaven to meet his Heavenly Father.
He was born in 1952 at St. Anthony's Hospital and spent his childhood in Oklahoma City. He attended and graduated from Southeast High School where he met his future wife Nola Keith. They were married on April 2, 1971. During their years together they enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling at Jackson Hole, WY and cheering for the OU Sooners.
Richard was a collector of antique military weapons and enjoyed competition shooting. He was a tool and die maker by trade and spent most of his working years at Balon Corporation. He also worked as Dean of Students at Moore Christian Academy for two years.
At Emmanuel Baptist Church in Moore he served his Lord where needed but his favorite position was teaching Children's Church where he was known for his stories.
Richard is survived by wife Nola, his son Brian and his wife Jamie, his daughter-in-law Melissa, his daughter Amy Hailey and her husband Randy, his sister Sherry Vermillion and her husband David and his sister Debbie Smith and her husband Duane. He has five grandchildren Tyler, Hunter, Cale, Meghan and Gavin, and Sara Baysinger, whom was like a daughter to Richard.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Helen Stringfellow and his son Alan Stringfellow.
