Rick closed his eyes on earth & opened them to clearly view & walk in heavens glory. Born in OKC, to Cal & Barbara Davenport, a graduate of Capitol Hill HS, he always enjoyed working with his hands & was a gifted mechanic; he worked for Evans Electric until failing health led to an early retirement. He is survived by his daughter Danielle Cristin Atkins & her husband Patrick, grandson Caleb Atkins; his parents & one brother Craig Davenport; numerous loving aunts, uncles, & other family & friends. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 AM on Tues, April 21, 2015 at Southern Hills Baptist Ch. 8601 S. Penn, OKC. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Paul Silverstein Burn Center @ Integris B.M.C. 3300 N. W. Expressway, OKC 73112.
