Rick Lomax of Elk City, Oklahoma died Sunday evening, August 1, 2010 in Oklahoma City after a brief illness at the age of 55.

Rick was best known for his strong work ethic and his quick sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, both of the St. Louis area. Rick is survived by two children, Chrissie Lomax of Elk City and Rick Lomax Jr. of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, Jon Henry Lomax Gurley and Vivicca Love Waxler of Elk City, Oklahoma; Four sisters, Sherry Schanuel, Diane Blackwell of Waterloo, IL, Charlotte Frentzel of Indiana and Kim Lomax of Belleville, IL. Rick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
