It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say good bye to their beloved Bob Davis (Edmond, OK) who passed away on August 30, 2023. He was born in Anadarko, OK on December 4, 1941 to Alvin Eldon Davis and Elizabeth (Adams) Davis and grew up in a wonderful community, Hydro, OK.

He attended grade school through high school in Hydro, then Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where he graduated with a degree in Business. He found his niche in the business world in Oklahoma City, OK where he was a dedicated Financial Advisor for more than 50 years.

Bob loved his family, friends, to travel and golf. While he loved trips to various golf courses, he was member of The Greens Golf and Country Club for more than 40 years. It was his passion. It was something joyful he could share with family and friends. He was a kind soul, loyal and caring. He loved to laugh. And he had happy feet; he loved to dance at social events. Recently, a friend described Bob as a true gentleman, and he was.

He married Helena Dawn Breaud on Valentine's Day, 1980. She always suspected he chose that date because it was easily remembered. Helena worked with Bob in his successful business for 43 years. Bob and Helena also served on the board of The Center of Family Love (Okarche, OK) for many years.

He is survived by wife, Helena, children Mitch Davis and Ashlee Lawson (Kevin) and grandchildren, Meridee Kibbe (Tyler) and Ben Lawson, along with his only sibling, Gary Davis (Letha) and his entire family.

Bob always thought that a wake was what he should have, so there will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5:30 PM at The Greens Golf and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift in Bob's memory to the Center of Family Love, PO Box 245, Okarche, OK 73762.
