Robert Clinton Francis left this world on Thursday, March 5, 2020. He was born in Hutchinson, KS on March 5, 1939 to James and Margaret Francis. Robert was raised in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Wichita High School East in 1957. He married Connie Marie Francis on April 21, 1961 at College Hill Methodist Church in Wichita, KS and they were blessed with two sons Charles and Craig. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army from 1961 to 1964 and was stationed in Germany for a tour. When Robert was honorably discharged from the Army he began a career in Finance that would span over 30 years. He managed a TransAmerica branch and enjoyed helping people achieve their dreams by authorizing loans for their property and ventures. In his spare time Robert liked to tinker and repair broken items. It didn't really matter what it was, he just like fixing things. Robert was a very stoic man with a dry sense of humor and was hard to read but it has been said that he was always smiling on the inside. Robert loved his family dearly and although he didn't always show it, they knew how he felt. Robert will be greatly missed by all of his family but they are at peace knowing he has been reunited with the love of his life, Connie.
