Services to celebrate his life will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S. Penn OKC, OK)

Robert, fondly known to those who loved him as Bob, Bobby, or Bear, left this earth on June 22, 2022. He was born on Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Base in Havelock, NC to his parents Robert Grundy & Shirley A. Grundy. He was raised in Bakersfield, CA and later relocated to Oklahoma. He enjoyed living live to the fullest wherever he was. He served in the US Navy which is where he learned the value of hard work. Bob had many different careers over the years and made many lifelong friends along the way. For over 20 years he worked in the electrical motor industry at Evans Enterprises and most recently Global Energy Solutions. He made a huge impact on those he worked with always offering advice, or help in any way. He loved watching sports, especially LA Dodgers baseball and Dallas Cowboys football. Bob loved playing pranks on friends, and even new acquaintances. His humor will be missed as much as his presence. More than anything, he loved the people he surrounded himself with. His children and grandkids were his biggest joys in life. Bob's selfless spirit, his willingness to help others, his bear hugs, and his humor will be missed evermore.
