Robert C. Forrest Jr., 71, of Oklahoma City, passed away on August 14,
2012. Robert was born on December 18, 1940 to Robert Sr. and Inez
(Pittman) Forrest in San Antonio, TX. Robert's working career included Manhattan Construction Co., Cox Construction, and Wynn Construction. His last ten years consisted of building many churches, including Crossings Community Church. Robert loved his family, and his church family and friends. He will be missed greatly.
Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents. Robert is
survived by his loving wife, Linda; his daughter, Robin Lynn Bates and
husband Gregory Scott, of McKinney, TX; his son, Jon Ryan Forrest, of
Hurst, TX; two grandchildren, Jackson Scott and Jessica Reese Bates;
his brother, John Raymond Forrest and wife Christine Arnold , of Dallas, TX;
and a niece, Erica Laine Forrest, of Dallas, TX.


A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August
16, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends
from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2012 at Crossings Community Church, 14600 North Portland Avenue, OKC, OK, with
burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, OKC, OK. Memorial
