Obituary

Robert L. Adams went home to our Father in heaven on October 12, 2022. He was born to Richard and Orean Adams near Vernon, Kansas on February 4, 1930. He was a graduate of a 1st thru 8th grade one-room schoolhouse in Kansas. He graduated from Louisburg High school in Louisburg, Kansas, and he also graduated from Kansas State University with a B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.

He was a computer design engineer at RCA, and later a computer systems analysis at Honeywell Control Data and Seagate. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War.

Until recently, he was very active at Church of The Servant with the Celebration Choir, Sunday School and Bible Study. He also sang with the OCCC Symphonic Choir. He enjoyed playing golf, walking at the mall, playing bridge and traveling.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Max Adams, and Dorothy, his sweet wife of 58 years. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Spillman, numerous nephews and nieces, dear friends and his church family.

A memorial service will be held at Church of the Servant at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Church of the Servant Foundation or the charity of your choice.
