Robert Neal Phillips, fondly known as Neal by his family and friends, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 22, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 90. The son of Velma (Phipps) and Willie Phillips, Neal was born on September 9, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After graduating from Capitol Hill High School, Neal began a lifelong career in the trucking industry, hauling freight and goods from across the country. On January 28th, 1950 (Date of marriage), Neal married his sweetheart, Mary Etta Rush after meeting on a blind date and together shared more than 71 years of marriage and watching their family grow. In his spare time, Neal enjoyed many hobbies such as going to his cabin in Lake Texoma, Sports, woodworking, and traveling but nothing was as important to Neal, than spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. Known for being Mr. Fixit and jack of all trades, Neal could always be found serving others. He was a honest, loving, and caring man, who enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and who was loved by all who knew him. Neal will be deeply missed each day.

Sisters: Carol Foster Smith, & Diana Hayes and husband Kenny;
Grandchildren:Amy Campbell, Amber Cooper, William Bruce Phillips, Dustin Phillips, Daniel Owens, Tiffany Phillips, Anthony Phillips, Austin Phillips, and Evan Phillips.
Great Grandchildren; Jaren Kanatzar, Vincent Phillips, Chloe Taylor, Cara Cooper, Cole Cooper, and Magnolia Owens;
