Robert "Bob" Stuart, 80, born May 1, 1928 in Wadsworth, Ohio went to be with the Lord Mar. 27, 2009. Faithful husband to Evelyn for 61 years. Preceded in death by Mother and Father and grandson Austin Reeves Sharp. Survived by son Gary, wife Holly, daughter Robin Sharp, and husband Dave. Grandchildren Beth Hand, husband Guy, Abbey McClellan, husband Matt, Nick Stuart, Maggie Stuart, Matthew Sharp, Angela Sharp and Kayla Sharp. One Great Grandchild Lauren Elizabeth Hand. Identical twin brother Richard "Dick" Stuart, wife Betty, sisters Harvetta Gammell, Sue Loney and special nephew Dennis Narney and a host of other family and friends. The second love of his life, after Evelyn, was country music. Bob played steel guitar with Country Music Hall of Famers George Morgan, Little Jimmy Dickens, Marty Robbins and Red Foley. In recent years he played with the Pete Hester Band. Bob retired from Lee Way Motor Freight and taught at American Truck Training School. He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will begin today from 2-8 PM, 4-8 PM on Monday, with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at Vondel Smith South Lakes 4000 S.W. 119th. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday Mar. 31, 2009 at New Heights Baptist Church, 1414 S.W. 119th Street, Oklahoma City 73170. Memorials may be made to New Heights Baptist Church.
