Robert (Bob) Tilley,75, joined Heaven's angels on December 1st 2016. Because of his faith in Jesus as his Lord, we know he is with him. He was born February 28, 1941 to Neal and Maudie Tilley in Apache, Oklahoma.

Bob married Paulette (Polly) Hill on December 25, 1961 and they shared 54 years of wedded bliss. Bob dedicated his life time being a loving husband and devoted father. Bob loved his sports. He was very active in baseball, basketball and track as a youth at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He served as a pitcher in the semi-finals for 1957, 1958 and 1959. The Fort Cobb Longhorns won state in baseball in the fall of 1959. His record was 42 wins and 5 losses. Bob served seven years in the 45th of the Army National Guard. Bob and Polly raised their family in Tuttle, Oklahoma where he was very active in the First Baptist Church. He served many years as Sunday School Director and Deacon. Bob enjoyed life to the fullest and made many friends along the way. He spent 35 years at Lucent Technology and several years as a realtor helping people find their dream home. After retirement they enjoyed traveling and took his dad, Neal and grandson Brandon on many trips. They also spent seven years in Florida close to their son Rob & his family before returning to Oklahoma close to their daughter Marlene & her family. They have most recently lived in Moore and been members of Emmaus Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by:

his parents, Neal and Maudie Tilley

grandson Brandon Wood,

Polly's brother Gerald Hill,

three brother's-in-law, Clarence {Sonny) Shore, Jerry Pierce and John Stewart,

nephew Chris Mitchell,

great nephew Tanner Hill.

Bob leaves behind:

his loving and devoted bride, Polly;

daughter Marlene and husband Jay of Moore;

son Rob and wife Tammy of Niceville, Florida;

five grandchildren, Rachel, Kyle, Quinton, Blake and Elizabeth (Nikki) & her husband Jason;

4 great grandchildren, Elijah, Alex, Amelia and Kyleigh from Florida;

one brother, Richard Tilley and his wife Neaomi

one sister, Sue Mitchell and husband Tommy;

Uncle Roy Aldridge and Aunt Betty

and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous other family and friends.
