Robert went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday March 7, 2021. Robert was born to Harold and Wanda (Owings) Williams on February 24, 1952 in Oklahoma City. Robert and his siblings (Paula, Denise, Sharon, Tina) were raised in South OKC. When Robert was growing up he enjoyed football, baseball, basketball and fishing. Robert graduated from Western Heights High School in 1970.
Robert met the love of his life, Libbie McCann in 1970 after being introduced by her twin sister Jackie. On December 16, 1971 Robert and Libbie were married in Oklahoma City. They were blessed with two children, Bryan and Jayme, whom they loved with all their hearts. Robert was a loving and devoted father and husband. He worked hard to provide for his family. For over 34 years he worked for UPS as a truck driver. Robert made many friends and great memories during his career with UPS.
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed working with tools and tinkering with repairs and things around the house. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed family trips to the lake, attending grandkids ballgames and landscape projects. Robert was a faithful Christian and attended often at Emmaus Baptist church with his son Bryan and family.
Robert will always be remembered for his love for his family, generosity and friendliness. He left a great legacy and will never be forgotten.
