Viewing for Rogelio Ibanez-Rivera will be 4-8 PM Thursday and Friday at Vondel L Smith Mortuary, 6934 S. Western Ave. Oklahoma City.
Funeral services for Mr. Ibanez-Rivera will be 1 PM Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Moore City Cemetery, 800 SW 4th Street, Moore, Oklahoma.
Rogelio Ibáñez, 75 años. Se mudó de esta ciudad a la Ciudad Celestial. Nació en el rancho Ahogadero, Chihuahua, México, el 6 de febrero de 1950. Se casó en 1968. Se mudó a Estados Unidos en 1969. Llegó a Plainview, Texas, y luego a Oklahoma City.
Le sobreviven su esposa, tres hijas, diez nietos y doce bisnietos. Le gustaba tocar la guitarra y el acordeón.
Le gustaba el karate y la lucha libre. Era obrero de la construcción, un hombre ejemplar, un excelente padre y abuelo. A los 20 años, recibió al Señor Jesucristo como su Salvador. Sirvió como pastor, copastor y conductor de autobús en la Iglesia de San Esteban Nazareno. Siguió como pastor en la Iglesia La Voz de la Piedra Angular durante 40 años. Y se fue con su Creador.
Rogelio Ibanez entered Heaven's gates on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the age of 75. He was born on February 6, 1950 on the Ahogadero ranch, D.B. Chihuahua, Mexico. He married in 1968 before moving to the United States in 1969 where he lived in Plainview, Texas before later moving and settling in Oklahoma City where he made his home with his wife, 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren all who survive him. Rogelio was a hardworking man who worked as a construction worker and provided for his family. He an exemplary man, an excellent father and grandfather. In his spare time, Rogelio enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion. He also liked karate and wrestling. At the age of 20, Rogelio received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He served as a usher, co-pastor, and bus chauffeur in the (ge IgleSia de Besstano Nazareno and Sigio as pastoas lastar) in the Church of The Voice of the Cornerstone for 40 years. Rogelio is now in his Heavenly home went with his Creator.
