Ronald Gene Fox

Ronald Gene Fox received his Heavenly reward on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The son of Grover Franklin Fox & Betty Sue (Scarberry), he was born January 28, 1955, in Hobart, OK. He grew up attending schools in Hobart, OK before moving to the Midwest City area and graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1973. Upon his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, and received an honorable discharge from duty. On February 2, 1976, he married his sweetheart, Donna Marie (Pearman), and together they shared more than 46 years of marriage. The two were blessed with three children: Michael, Ronald Jason, & Andrea. In addition to being a loving husband, devoted father and great friend, Ron was a hard worker. He was very passionate about his family and friends, sports, hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ron was an accomplished welder, owning his own business for many years. He loved his dogs, fishing & strumming on his guitar. He started the battle with cancer in 2019, all while keeping his faith, and his kind spirit through the many adversities that followed. On August, 22, 2022, Ron bid farewell to his hearts companion, wife, Donna Fox. When she passed, there was an emptiness that could only be filled with the love of Christ, and he accepted that while continuing the fight to remain on this earth with family. He fought through the adversities and pain after the cancer diagnosis until the very end. We are all so proud to say that he was our dad, brother, uncle, Papa and much more. He loved, and cared for his family, and he will be held close to our hearts each and every day, for the rest of our lives.
