Royce Dean Girod, 88, entered eternal rest on February *** 2026. He was born November 3, 1937, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to William Albert and Leva (Shrum) Girod. Royce earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and dedicated his career to the field. He married the love of his life, Gertrude Girod, and together they raised three children, building a life centered on faith, family, and service. Royce was deeply devoted to his faith and his family. He found great joy in traveling and recounting his adventures, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and spending quality time with his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Gertrude; and his daughter, Jennifer. He is survived by his son, Michael Girod and wife Valerie; daughter, Kerry Girod; and four grandchildren, Lucy Girod, Ellie Girod, Elsie Fedha, and Ashley Fedha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at **** at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
