Russell, 81, was called to his Heavenly home on December 2, 2013. He was born March 13, 1932 in Elk Hart, Kansas to Edwin & Audrey (Littell) Barrett. Russell was a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. He married Tawanna in 2001. He was a former active member of Toastmaster's & Kiwanis. Russell is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Carol; & Uncle Art. He is survived by his wife, Tawanna; son, Steven Russell & wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Tammy & husband, David Evans, P.J. & companion Keith Ritchey; step-daughters, Jamie Willis & husband, Greg, Gina Campbell & husband, Geoff; brother, Fred; sister, Mary Barrett; grandchildren, Branson & Madison Evans, Grace Barrett; step-grandchildren, Brendon, Bethany & Hannah Willis, Matthew & Michael Tomblin; & Liam & Luke Campbell; great-grandchild, Elijah Torres; & a host of other family & friends. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd. OKC. with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
