Ruth Ann (Elkins) Midkiff, 93, of Lancaster, PA (formerly of OKC) passed away February 4, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 14, 1932 to Silmon and Leona Elkins in Miami, OK. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond L. Midkiff, in 1954. They shared a loving marriage of 41 years until Ray's passing in 1995.

Ruth Ann was a godly & faithful Christian who lived out her faith by ministering to not only her family, but to friends and in earlier years, to her church as well. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice, and she enjoyed sharing her voice starting in high school and all the way through her adult life in church.

Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family and her home. She also enjoyed gardening, baking for family & friends, and taking meals to people. In her later years she enjoyed watching OKC Thunder, Philadelphia Eagles and OSU Cowboys. But her biggest blessings were spending countless hours visiting, FaceTiming and talking with her great-grandchildren. They were the joyful culmination of her life well lived!

Survivors include: son, Terry E. Midkiff and his wife Marsha Midkiff of OKC, a daughter, Sarah Bohannon and her husband Joe Bohannon of Lititz, PA, 4 grandchildren Rachel Harrison and her husband Tyler Harrison of OKC, Rebekah Carriger and her husband Chris Carriger of OKC, Steve Bohannon and his wife April Bohannon of Red Lion, PA, John Bohannon and his wife Heather Bohannon of Lancaster, PA, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services to be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Vondel L. Smith and Son North Colonial Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142 with Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
