Samuel Chase Richardson's Obituary

Samuel Chase Richardson, a cherished son, brother, and dear friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2026, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born on September 16, 1999, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Samuel’s life was marked by kindness and dedication to both his friends and family.

Samuel was a proud graduate of Westmoore High School, Class of 2018, where he distinguished himself not only academically but also on the football field as a middle linebacker. Following high school, he pursued his general studies at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Samuel worked for a time at OPECo, where he contributed in the warehouse and made deliveries. He later worked at Owens-Corning, engaging in various manufacturing roles. Beyond his professional life, Samuel enjoyed staying active and healthy; he had a passion for working out and was contemplating a future as a personal trainer. When not working he enjoyed the outdoors, and could be found deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Amy Richardson of Edmond; his father, Patrick Richardson, and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City; and his siblings: Kyle Brawdy, Memphis Nard, and Arrow Richardson. Samuel also leaves behind his loving grandmother, Patsy Richardson, and his grandparents Druanne and David Durrett, along with, Harlen and Glenda Decker, and grandfather, Charlie Johnson; also by his aunts Jennifer Bell, and Tiffany and husband Doug Herndon. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Samuel Richardson
