Sandra Lou Wood Hanneman went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 6, 2023 age of 79. The daughter of Curtis and Ever Lou Wood, she was born August 14th, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. Sandy grew up attending schools in the Winder area and graduated from Winder-Barrow High School in Winder, Georgia. Sandy continued her education at Agnes Scott Women's College, studying for a degree in education. On May 27th, 1974, Sandra married her sweetheart, William Hanneman and together shared more than 38 years of marriage together. This union of marriage was blessed with 3 children. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Sandy also worked as a full-time secretary and receptionist for Dolese Corporation for many years before her retirement in 2005. Sandy was very passionate about her faith, football (She liked her Bulldogs too!) and Hawaii, but nothing was as important as being with her family whom she loved with all of her heart. Sandy was known for her baking, cooking, creative talents, her phenomenal gardening skills, and her love of her Sooners. She will be fondly remembered as someone you could call on or talk to when you needed someone the most. She loved and cared deeply for her family and she will be held close to our hearts each day.
