Obituary

Serenity Skye Hardman, of Oklahoma City, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Lovingly known as “Ren,” Serenity was born January 5, 2026, to Jerett and Tylee (Sellman) Hardman at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Serenity spent her entire life in the hospital, but never allowed her circumstances to define the joy and love she brought to those around her.

Ren loved singing, being read to, cuddling, and having her chunky cheeks kissed. She especially cherished visits from her big brother and sister, and she had a special way of keeping everyone on their toes. Though her time with us was far too short, she filled every moment with love and touched more lives than she could ever know.

Our precious Ren fought bravely with her little heart, and though her earthly journey has ended, her love will live in ours forever. She was deeply loved from her very first breath and will never, ever be forgotten.

She is survived by her parents, Jerett and Tylee (Sellman) Hardman; siblings, Zavier and Harmony Hardman; maternal grandparents, Dannielle Corley and Craig Washington; paternal grandparents, James and Deborah Butler-Hardman; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

As per family request, please wear shades of pink! We are celebrating a beautiful, vibrant, life and do not want black if possible. We thank you!
