Shari Lee (Jordan) Parsons was born April 21, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas the daughter of Cecil
Klemme and Jimmie (Bourland) Jordan. She completed this life on Saturday, August 17, 2024
at the age of 87.
After graduating from high school, Shari got married and moved to Utah and had her only child.
Two years later she moved to Oklahoma City where she attended and graduated from
Draughn's Business School. She accepted a job and worked for many years as a marketing
analyst at Kerr-McGee Oil Company.
Shari married Paul Wayne Parsons who also worked for Kerr-McGee. They had many varied
interests especially square dancing and attending her son's sports activities to include baseball,
basketball and football. After retirement they enjoyed traveling worldwide. They were
members of Millwood Baptist Church.
Shari was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband in 2007.
Shari is survived by her son, Dr. Wayne Charles "Chuck" Parsons and his wife, Galina of
Huntsville, AL; her sister, Sherry Bynum and her husband Bill; her grandson, Cole; her
granddaughter, Autumn and her husband Derik; and her great grandson, Reed.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 26, 2024 in the Garden Chapel pavilion at
Memorial Park Cemetery, 6405 Memorial Drive in Enid, OK.
