Sharon Pease, 86, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Oklahoma City.
Sharon was born on December 25, 1938, Christmas Day, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Herman "C.W." and Beulah Smith. Sharon was raised in Ada, Oklahoma along with her sisters, Johanna, Marilyn and Bonita. Sharon was very sociable and was quite popular at school. She was on the basketball team in high school and made countless friends. Sharon graduated from Ada High School in 1957 and later went on to attend at OU.
In the late 1950's Sharon decided to enter the nursing field. She began nursing training at St. Anthony's Hospital and graduated in 1961. Sharon met the love of her life, Bob Pease in 1960. They married on September 1, 1961 and were blessed with two children, Charles and Lori. Sharon was a loving wife and mother and always made sure her family knew how much she cared for them. She also worked hard to help support her family. Sharon worked at Baptist Hospital as a Surgical R.N. for nearly 20 years.
Sharon and her family were members at First Southern Baptist Church for many years. Sharon had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing with the choir at First Southern. In her later years, Sharon was a member at Southern Hills Baptist Church.
Sharon and her husband were OU Football Season Ticket holders for 41 years. They received their first OU tickets as a wedding gift from her parents, and that started their OU Football tradition. Sharon enjoyed reading, and also liked to crochet. She made some small items and also made quilts for her children.
